Hey - has anyone else noticed this recently? When you zoom out to the 2 mile level and beyond, the satellite images look different now. The greens are darker and the brown/neutral colored areas appear as a rusty orange color, like this:
http://maps.google.com/maps?t=h&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=39.67337,-74.450226&spn=0.137412,0.254745&om=1
Now, zoom in to the 1 mile level and the colors revert back to the way they used to look:
http://maps.google.com/maps?t=h&hl=en&ie=UTF8&om=1&ll=39.67337,-74.450226&spn=0.068706,0.127373
(Sorry, I'm not sure if those links preserve the zoom settings I was using, but just zoom in and out on that location and you will see a dramatic difference).
I wonder if these are new images or if they are just processing the color differently now?
