...After another winter with no snow. We had a few times here with a couple inches, but I never even got out my snow shovel, just used a broom. Not complaining though. :) At least it hasn't been as warm as last year and things aren't blooming yet, so hopefully we won't get all the frost damage we had last year.

We were fortunate, got enough rain but not the white stuff. Not too many miles north they got hammered with snow and it's still coming down. We might get a little tonight into tomorrow. My 2 year new snow blower is still new :D

Looks like we might get a little snow, maybe a commuter problem for tomorrow morning. Shouldn't be too bad though.

I saw that "confidence is limited" part earlier today and had to laugh. :p

Radar shows the edge of the storm just coming into Delaware now. There have been a lot of storms affecting them but not us recently. Will this one break the pattern? Maybe I need to get some milk and eggs? :D

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/03/2...-seeking-death-penalty-for-punxsutawney-phil/

A prosecutor in Ohio is reportedly seeking the death penalty for the famous rodent who emerged from his home in Gobbler’s Knob, Pa., on Feb. 2 and did not see his shadow, translating to an “early spring,” according to his handlers. But Michael Gmoser, prosecuting attorney in Butler County, said Thursday that Phil's inaccurate forecast warrants capital punishment, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

But Jeffrey Lundy, vice president of the Punxsutawney Ground Hog Club, said Gmoser will have a fight on his hands if he tries to arrest the famous groundhog.
“He's going to have to go through 15 licensed hunters to get to Phil,” said Lundy, referring to members of the club's inner circle.

NOAA is sending mixed messages again. That's what our winter storm warning says, but their 7 day forecast is saying 1-3". It must be due to the sequestor cuts.

A wet mix that was mostly rain started falling here around 7:00. Just now it has turned to heavy snow with big flakes. Temperature around 38.

All I know is that we sure don't have 18" of snow here like that map shows. ;) It was snowing hard until around 11:00 AM here - was starting to get a little concerned as the small pine trees bent over from the weight of the wet snow.

But it warmed up just enough to melt the snow off the trees. It never changed to rain here though. Light snow still falling.

Here is the total precipitation so far (water, not snowfall).
