Stockton’s 11th Annual Environmental Forum “Get Into the Green Scene”

Gonna be this coming Saturday at Stockton from 9-4 and it's FREE! I will be there with the native plants and South Jersey Fair Trade Alliance. Looks pretty good, see below....

Register for the event by e-mailing your name to stocktons11envlforum@gmail.com. The first 100 individuals to register will receive a free stainless steel reusable water bottle. Visitors can park in parking lots 2, 3, and 4, located in front of the Campus Center. The event is open to all ages, but parental guidance is mandatory for children under 18.

The all-day event, sponsored by Stockton’s student organization Water Watch/Energy Corps is titled “Get into the Green Scene” and will focus on ways that people may get involved in the environmental movement.
Admission to the event is free and open to the public and includes complimentary breakfast and lunch. The purpose of the forum is to educate the community about the environment through two keynote speakers, a variety of workshops and numerous vendors with information and products.
The keynote speakers will be award-winning, independent film maker, Jenna Norwood with her documentary “Supercharge Me” about making healthy eating choices and United State Geological Survey researcher, Sam Droege, speaking about his National Pollinator Survey, focusing on bees. Workshop topics include discussions on unknown toxins in one’s home, methods of conserving energy and water, and proper ways or recycling. Some vendors will be supplying free information such as boating safety tips and sustainable food sources while others will be selling merchandise such as fair trade food products.
