We were scouting out and area today planning our fall schedule. The area is open in many area's and quite remote in places.

We visited a spung at the beginning of our travels. It was dry and had a steal rod hammered in the ground at the lowest point.

Someone in the past has apparently covered over some eggs with slate and various other items to maybe protect them from predators. Not sure if that worked.

Some of the area's are true gems.

Here is the same view using the panaramic feature on my phone. Not sure how it will look. Best viewed on a large computer.

This area may have had a gun club or building of some sort in years past. No evidence of anything now. Another panaramic.

We spent the morning exploring in the same general area as we did last week. The first location was a walk down a remote closing in road in an area I have never been before. Right along the road Jessica found these old shoes that blended in so well it appears nobody has touched them or viewed them in many years. The tree was closing up around the laces.

Then to another location where we found this.

All the creature comforts you need. A chair and pickle buckets.

And not far from there we found maybe something they use.

On the way home we stopped to pick up blueberries grown locally by Piney Warden from this site. Jessica gave him something extra along with the cash :)
