My apologies in advance if this is an inappropriate post, please delete if so.

I am with a group of 5 people staying at one the the palace resstaurants cabins this Saturday and we are looking for transportation from the cabin to the sweet water marina for a kayaking trip, it’s a 6 mile trip and would need a ride back as well. I know uber is spotty in the area and the only other thing is taxi companies that seem more for airport transportation. Does anyone know of anyone who provides ride service down there? We certainly don’t need anything fancy just a ride there and back, per google maps it’s a 19 minute drive one way.

Thanks in Advance!

Never heard of the palace, is this it? I just had a quick look, but think it's farther than 6 miles to Sweetwater. It looked closer to 12 miles (each way) to me, which would be more in keeping with the 19 minute drive time. But I might be confused about the starting point and/or destination. Sorry, I have no suggestions for rides.

[edit]Reading your post again, maybe you meant a 6 mile kayak trip and not a 6 mile trip to Sweetwater? ;)

You'd be surprised what Uber might do. I always get one within 15 minutes, mostly under 10. I used Uber last week to pickup my car and the uber guy said he was in the area because he took a couple from Philly to LBI.

But, I get it. If you call and can't be done, your trip is sunk (pun intended).

A guy ran a light in Camden County and totaled the car I was driving. I didn’t want to bother my family for a ride, so I checked Uber. The rate was $170…so I decided to bother my family. :)

Because they had no loaners available, a dealership paid for my Lyft rides once. I've been using Lyft ever since for the occasional trips picking-up and dropping-off vehicles. No complaints. Never used Uber.

Why not just kayak the Great Egg Harbor River?
