I kind of figured that Shades of Death road would finish in the top 10. Beck wrote about it in Tales and Towns of Northern NJ (IIRC.)
Did you notice that directly north of the POKANO mountains in the 1833 Gordon's map there is a scary place named:
"Great Swamp or Shades of Death"
"Great Swamp or Shades of Death"
There is also a lake down off of unexpected road loaded with bass, problem is an older woman owns it and won't let anybody in ,find a away and you'll be in bass heaven !
Yeah, that is a wild area down there and very much the barrens. I have it on my list to do some exploring down that way.
