The ticks have been really bad this year and Jessica was thinking of different ways to remove them easily, and she came up with a way that works perfectly. She brought along a lint brush and as soon as she saw them she pulled it out of her pocket and instantly had them. They could not even move their legs and appeared dead. By the end of the day she had about 15 of them, and promptly threw them in the trash when we arrived home.

So any ladies or even the men here who don't want to touch them or wants to guarantee a capture, buy a lint brush.

Yes! In a similar vein, I carry around a roll of duct tape with me (my favorite multi-purpose tool) and capture the ticks on the tape. Then you just fold it up and throw it out. I have yet to find a better way to get off the tiny ones, especially when you accidentally tromp through a nest. Ugh.
