All,

For quite some time I have been meaning to get to this place but something always seemed to be pushed ahead of it. However, with Jessica off for the week we gave it a shot. From the stone hills along Carranza we headed south pushing through various obstacles along the way.

A few views of our struggles along the way.

Eventually, we finally arrived.

It was nicer than I expected.

We were surprised to find a hunter had been using it for quite a while and the evidence was abundant. They had removed the stands themselves and left the ladders. But a salt lick and the bait can in a tree along with the hoist were still there.

These were serious hunters as it is a long way to this place and we were trying to figure out how they got there. We eventually found the long trail they cut through the woods making it a much easier walk out for us than we had getting there. I had looked for one on lidar but it does not show.

In other area's on our way back we found these.

It had a screw locking it so I unscrewed it and looked inside. Nice chair!

Our much easier walk back. We will be returning to explore more as we saw some other places of interest.
