I have Phillies tickets for Sunday nite. I'm coming up 70 from Ocean County, or I may even take 38. My daughter, coming from Glassboro, needs to meet me somewhere up in that area (where I jump on 295) and park her car. Guy gave me some help last year and we parked by an industrial park. However, that turned out to be a little twisty and cops were hanging out there when we got back.

Do any of you live around there where I can park her car, or know of a good convenient place to park her car where there is no hassle?

Try PJ Whelihan's. It's not far off of 295 on Route 70, and I've used their lot when meeting up with a friend from Trenton for an Eagles game.

So if you were figuring OLGA'S which yes is long gone...
What's wrong with the huge Kohl's parking lot right there on 70 & 73?
I do not like leaving my vehicle alone but, I find that a large store parking lot, well lit and park close by the store, you should be O.K.
when you come back you'll still be well lit and safe.
If you two meet there, leave her car and split right up the street to 295, you're good to go.
An industrial park sounds dangerous as all heck.
Good luck whatever you do. Enjoy the game with your daughter!

Bob,

I work very close to Rt. 70 in Cherry Hill. Close by to Ponzios's Diner. If they are open 24 hrs I would say thats a good spot. Send me a private message I have a few more ideas close by 70 and minutes from 295. What a game tonight man I'm sweating!!!

When I went to the ballpark with my dad I always left my car at Rexy's Bar on Rt 168 (Black Horse Pike), that may be out of your way from the way you are coming though. Its 5 minutes from the Walt Whitman.

Bob,

I live right near where you parked your car the last time, so if you can't come up with a place closer there always is my driveway. I am 5 minutes from the bridge and have three exits near my house for 295. We drove right by my house the last time. I pointed to it but I don't think you saw me.

Last nite was a great game. The Phils beat the daylights out of Los Angeles.

I was not impressed with PJ's. Service was very slow, the music was way, way too loud, and the food was mediocre.

Whooo-whooo! I'm still hoarse. Very emotional first inning drained everyone.

The parking was great, thanks to all who suggested it.

Yeah, but where?

I know its late, but for future reference theres a brand new 24-Hr Walmart supercenter just off 42 south of the 295 split. You'd take 295 south, then instead of getting on 76 and towards the Walt Whitman, you'd take 42 south (only about 2 miles) to the Deptford exit (12). The Walmart is right there on Clements Bridge road, east of 42. It'd be an easy drive for your daughter too, since its right near the end of 55.

Ha, sorry, Bob, I guess I should have phrased it as "Try PARKING at PJ Whelihan's." I won't eat there. I hear that all of the PJ's are superloud. Glad you had a good time at the game. I had tickets on Monday--what a great time!
