And if you have watched the Owl cam in the past that was posted here a few years back you may find it interesting to know that a few days ago a smaller orphaned owlet was placed in the nest hoping the mom would take care of it. She aparently returned and has accepted it. Notice one is smaller than the other two. It is also intereting to note that this is a differnt female than in the past. Owls mate for life but unfortuanly someone shot the first one which was video taped. The person shooting was not. After trying to find his mate the male moved on to another female.
