in the Pines.

Today it was a Mexican Falcon, probably here illegally. Real Name is Jose', I mean Crested Caracara. My guess is that this is the same bird as seen n New Gretna earlier this year. The first record of one was last September in Mercer County. Perhaps this is the same bird. Seen in an Atlantic County corn field feeding with Vultures.

Also a LOT of blackbirds; Red-wings, Starlings, Grackles, etc. Every once in a while the farmer would let go a shotgun blast and the flocks would blast off.

While I missed the bird today at 8, I see another observer reported it at 8:20. The location has been Odessa ave and Duerer st in Galloway. there is ample room to pull off the road and no need to infringe on any private property. good birding.
