Nice find. I have been right by there along the Burlington/Ocean line but not quite to that location.

He said they were near there and not the trucks you found.

Yep, been there before.

Both are early to mid fifty models.

One's a Ford and the other's a dodge, maybe 25 yards apart.

Kind of funny place to be hiking?

The first one is a Ford. I would say it is either a 1944, 1945, 1946, or a 1947.

Jessica flattened a tire and then broke into it :)

Found this on it.

Sandy, Billy, and someone else where there in 2002.

Then to the Dodge. I say it is a 1952 because of the info on it. I may be wrong. This one shows a young woman relaxing against her car texting her sister :)

I just put this together manually, and they are not properly aligned.

From the tag, it appears the Dodge was built in 1950, probably for the military from the GI52 designation. Was there an engine in them?

"B-Series:
The B-series trucks were made from 1948 - 1953. They are also known as pilot-house trucks because of their distinctively new cab design. There are no "A-Series" trucks. Trucks built before 1948 are classified with model types such as TC, TD, WC and VC and as "job-rated" although the job-rated nomenclature continues to be used by Dodge even today. After 1953 the "C-Series" trucks were made from 1954 through 1956 , and continued on with the "Power-Giant" series til 1960 . The B-Series for trucks should not be confused with Dodge's B-series of cars that were made in the 70's."
