Walked the Tom's Pond Trail back in July, just getting to go through my pictures now (did about 90 miles on the AT and took the family to Maine/New Hampshire for 9 days since then). It starts on the far side of Batsto, at the end of the row of worker's houses. It's only a 1.1 mile total out and back, but it goes through some nice swamplands (complete with pitcher plants), crosses the Mullica on a beautiful footbridge (I'd only ever gone under it, never walked across it), and has a bit of pine forest to boot. Very nice walk with some variety for a minimum amount of effort.
With a tour around Batsto, a nice lunch, a trip around one of the Batsto Lake Trails, and a stop at some farmer's markets on the way home, it made for a nice day with the family and two of my friends.
