The photo appears to show a foundation without the center wall seen on the foundation at the Washington stables that most are familiar with. His placement of the ruins on the map seems consistent with the know ruins. I wonder if the photo is a mistake or if there is another foundation. If I had to bet, I'd go with the former although his work in the book seems very careful and thorough.

I think that photo is an old picture of the cranberry packing house at Friendship. There are NO ruins at Washington that even look remotely similar to that. And in Beck's books, there is a picture of the ruins at Washington (the one with the center wall) captioned the "Pit Silo."
