Being out in nature — or even living close to it — can have a significant, positive impact on your health.

Not so fast; you go outside and your subjected to polluted air, high pollen counts that leave you wheezing for breath, causing you to take in even more polluted air. While your wheezing you step into some high grass and immediately attract a few dozen Lyme carrying ticks and a hundred or so chiggers. Then the Nile virus carrying mosquito's get you and after them the Asian Tigers that leave silver dollar sized welts. As your scratching away you step on a timber rattler that takes a nip at your calf and in your rush to get help, twist your ankle, fall, and a branch pokes your eye out.

No thanks, the couch is just fine ;)
