Well the bird is an immature California Condor.

Tagged Condor #73 at that.

Have any better shots of that spider? It's hard to see. Judging from the shadow, it could be a black widow or it could be something else entirely.

And I agree, that is a condor.

These photographs are part of a puzzle I am working on. I was thinking black widow as well for the spider. These photographs are all I have.
