While I was searching through satallite images of the bamber area I noticed a little shack (or so it looks from satellte) down a dead end trail off of pasadena/webbs mill rd...Me and my husband went out there trying to see what was back there, but about 100 yards down the road it was gated off, so we took the hint and turned around (getting to old to get in trouble for trespassing these days)...but I was wondering if anyone knew what was back there? It's not nearly big enough to be a house...but obviously they don't want you back there...It's coordinates are
+39° 53' 3.90", -74° 23' 11.93"

It can be seen clearly from satellite. Just one of those curious things...

I have never been to it but I can say with confidence it is a hunting club. No need to have anything more than a shack since people are constantly burning them down.

A little tip. I have come upon hunting clubs many times when there are people there. If you can get close yell to them and ask if you can talk to them about their club. They have also been nice to me and on one occasion after talking to a man for some time I found out he knew and had worked with my uncle and had taken him to the hospital during his heart attack.

For the most part they love to talk about their clubs.

I have been there. It is not an aged building....looks more like a well-built pre-fab. They care for it very well. I love that area, so asked the owners if I could hang there in return for checking up on the place once in awhile for them. They never replied to my letter. My memory says they are the Delaware Bay Rod and Gun Club.
