    Do dirt bikes frequent the trail either legally or illegally? It looks like someone may have been run of the trail by a biker one to many times. If it was a repair project I’m sure the state would have signage and construction tape up.

    I think Brendan Byrne State Forest has a Ted Kaczynski special for the winter months. Firewood and pyrotechnics are optional. Seriously though if you’re looking for a state park a lot of NJ parks have cheap cabins for rent. I’m not sure if their available during the winter months...
