Is there an easy way to drive in close to mile-marker 5?

Another question: Does every mile have a half-mile marker? I seem to have missed documenting a few, but I'm pretty sure I would have seen them.

I have been logging the GPS coordinates of the markers as I (very slowly) hike the trail. What's a good place to share this info?

Really interesting place. I started going fairly often this past year, and I'm struck by how different the landscape is only a few miles from where I live in Atlantic County. There are also these giant concrete pillar things. Does anyone know what they were part of?
