TomTom talks in my wife's sleep

All,

My wife keeps telling me her TomTom wakes her up at night informing her that after a quarter mile she should make a turn and then informs her she has reached her destination. It is in the case completely turned off and the battery is dead when we try to turn it back on. It was last used a week ago and I was the one who turned it off and put it in the case. This is not the first time she has told me this so I would have to assume she is not dreaming. Has this happened to anyone here?

Is the battery removable?

It looks like I just need to do an update and the problem may be solved. I will try that first. I don't think the batter is removable, at least not easily.

I'm glad you posted this. My TomTom was on the dresser the other night, turned itself on, and woke me up.

I was seriously freaked out at first, turned it off, went to sleep after a while of staring at it. I was convinced that if I had any doubts about demonic possession of inanimate objects, they would soon be put to rest.

Since then I've been wondering if I had dreamed it all!

Time for updates, I guess...
