    Lower Forge-High Crossing Road

I believe so. I know Mines Spung Road is open and I thought everything around Mannis Duck pond and Lower Forge was closed. A few weeks ago I was on Mines Spung and followed it out to Pushline Road. There was a tree down across the turn off to lower forge. I just thought it was closed and...

I was thinking it was included when they closed everything around 1/4 mile. Thanks for the clarification.

    Lower Forge-High Crossing Road

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that road already closed to motor vehicles.

ORV Management In Sensitive Areas Of Wharton

I agree. All the stakeholders should attend one meeting with follow ups as needed. Breaking them up into groups is not to come up with a common plan it's to appease each group individually. And I could be wrong but I find little coming out of the November 5th meeting

ORV Management In Sensitive Areas Of Wharton

So basically after these "stakeholder" meetings and public meeting they are simply going to say. "We've listened to your concerns and we're going to roll out the plan anyway". They'll probably list a few more roads to stay open. These meetings need to start with a clean slate and the...

I looked for it until 7:30. I didn't see anything, but I do have a lot of pine trees

    This is exciting

Welcome. The best advice I can give is follow what interests you to get started. That's the best part, as you get deeper into what you are interested in you wind up getting a deeper respect for something else and your love for the pines grows. Before you know it you'll be hooked on every...

    Where is this?

I'm almost positive that is an ariel shot of a fresh control burn. Notice they weren't hot along the plow lines but when all the perimeter fires met up in the center it got hot.

ORV Management In Sensitive Areas Of Wharton

Yes it's far from over. To me this is no different then the Santuary Devlpoment in Evessham. The whole project was put on hold to protect the Timber Rattlers. Today all the snake fences and tubes that were installed are now are debris piles. More importantly is that building started back up and...

ORV Management In Sensitive Areas Of Wharton

Sorry if that came off to sarcastic but I'm upset I can't make it as well as the feeling that they still aren't listening to the public and are just moving forward no matter what we think.

ORV Management In Sensitive Areas Of Wharton

Welcomed to the forums Maggie. Don't think for one second that you would not be welcome here if you're for the MAP. I personally enjoy listening to other opinions. I like to hear both sides of any argument and form my own opinion. I usually fall some where in the middle like most of us. I...

    Resuming Rockwood

I've lost a lot of time battling them that I can't get back. I even had heavy equipment on my side at times.

ORV Management In Sensitive Areas Of Wharton

There was absolutely a road up Jemima in the 70's. Now there's many though. It's been closed to vehicles for years but each year I go there seems to be a new one and the existing ones are getting worse. With the plan it will take 3 rangers to close off Jemima. When one stationed there for a...

ORV Management In Sensitive Areas Of Wharton

In Rob's presentation he had a game camera showing all this abuse. But there was not one Ranger there. They knew it was going on so much so that they put a camera up. I'd like to see a camera at Jemima over a weekend. I would place money that not one hit would be a ranger. That's just one spot...
