    i think the rmp size limit is 200 megs. I can always import the tiff into gimp and cut it down.my computer can handle tiffs about a gig in size. Thanks Boyd. I use rmp maker and have helper downloaded but could never get it to work.never really needed it so didn't fool with it much.

    I think the body pattern on them is much like a pine snake and when I was a kid I thought they were baby pine snakes.They are still beautiful snakes though I must say Pines are about top of my list:-)

    It could be that the people doing the blazing have never been taught the proper way to blaze a trail or possibly it could be other people not belonging to the club doing their own blazing because it's their favorite section and they feel there wasn't enough blazes.Also many folks do not know how...

    The concrete monuments were put in by Wharton probably when they bought the property.Any stones would pre date Wharton and possibly be from as far back as 1866 easily.Wharton uses concrete monuments and the stones would be from previous owners.

    Boyd can it be converted into and RMP file or perhaps a Jpeg and I could calibrate it and turn it into a rmp? Would the file size be prohibitive?

    Boyd This shows islands and potential islands quite well.I could find them on your topo and then confirm them possibly with black and white aerials or infrared.

    Plant wise Bob what is more diverse? A natural flowing cedar stream or a beaver bog.I know the beavers change the look of the stream for centuries there after but the ponds are a have for wildlife and fish.Are they a more diverse area for plants as well? I know they do not make very nice...
