My favorite camping area is at the Mullica River Wilderness Campsite. NJ Wharton State Forest Route Atsion To Mullica River Road (video link). So far, to the best of my knowledge, no vehicles have traveled into this campsite area with the exception of the rangers and maintenance crews...

My opinion is that a reasonable amount of acreage within the Pinelands National Reserve should be set aside specifically for this type (mudders) of outdoor recreational vehicle activity, as depicted in the "PINE MUD Documentary. To do whatever one pleases, in anyplace they want, is absolutely...

Stumbled across the "PINE MUD Official Trailer". Eye opening! p.s., I just purchased the movie on Amazon Prime.

Ditto! We had a healthy balance of questions and answers during our conversation yesterday. To learn is essential and the continuous dialogue will allow us to discover like-minded individuals who can share ideas, with the hope of being able to influence the outcomes. Ships require small rudders...

Thank you. In the 1990s I was on the Erial Little League Board of Directors, participated in round table discussions related to the planning of the Gloucester Township Community Park, and was on the Zoning Board of Adjustment, so I’m familiar with the back and forth discussions that I may, or...

Russel and I had a respectful conversation. Tommy was unable to attend. Subsequent to our conversation I decided to: acquire first-hand information not limited to plans and progress, contribute to help achieve the "Specific Campaign Goals" (with the emphasis on outdoor public land recreation...

We can limit the discussions to what we agree on, but I’ll listen mostly to the thoughts of the rest of the group. Input is key to understanding the entire scope. We can meet somewhere that is an almost equal drive time for all.

I’m less than a 5 minutes drive from Rancocas Woods. The only place I know of is Pic-A-Lilli Inn. I’m open to other possibilities. BTW, being a recent retiree almost all of my calendar is clear.

The same happened with the BATONA trail signage. On a few of my past hikes in Wharton I came across trash along the trails plus along the streams. Appears there is no way to completely discourage the violators from disfiguring our parks and forests. Evidence visible when hiking, biking...

I concur! On target with your latest post @G. Russell Juelg. The only topic of concern is the absence of markers to guide those who decide to travel the sand roads. IMHO, if blazes can be posted for hiking and equestrian trails, as well as signs for ecological sensitive areas, then markers for...

@Boyd, I'm primarily a digital map user also, but every once in a while, an urge to hold a hard copy and lay the map flat on a surface will sneak up on me without notice :D. The hard copies are a little pricy but at least they're now made from waterproof material and almost impossible to tear...

@Boyd, Your maps online provide realistic mapping, the roads on the 2011 appear while the 2019 don't. I appreciate the additional feedback @Teegate.

Interesting. USGS maps 2011 vs 2019 of Chatsworth NJ. Where did the roads go? Actually don’t exist or maybe exist but omitted from the maps? Does anyone from Chatsworth know the facts to be able to say: Yay or Nay?
