    Wharton/Atsion 2009 clean up?

Everything looks good so far my dear. The little devil of a truck remains somewhat intact. There is enough metal on the body left to carry a load. I will do my best to contribute to the door prize offerings again. Something very practical this year. I still remember our very first meeting was...

Apple Pie Hill Tower Smashed Again

I never actually proposed to my wife. We were standing on a beach in LBI one night and I held her and I said 'I am going to marry you" That's all folks. g.

    The Fox

This weekend 10/03/09 I stopped into Foxy's tonight on a mission of high importance. Some much needed research for local folks that might recall an Elm event of years gone by I am tracking down. Where better than a bar for the skinny on things. Oh, and some beverages whilst talking...

    Kayak Karl

Dude, only 10 days ago and in weather that crappy! We've been spoiled here it seems. 442 miles is about 440 miles farther than I would have cared to trek in that. There would have to be the promise of much imbibing at the end. You are a good and hearty soul and thank you for sharing with...

Public service announcement for heterosexual males

I think of the families that roam the parks for enjoyment right in proximity to these people of low character. Even Jeff's scenic outlook experience could have turned out very poorly for a wandering child. Pieces if shite for sure. Some people are simply wired wrong. (that however is a lame...

Public service announcement for heterosexual males

Thanks for that Mark. That's all I need. Don't go there Bob, it could be bad for you. I've avoided this thread because given my usual nature, I could get quite out of hand with it. This thread is like a crack pipe to a junky in front of me, so I'll go now. Stick to the swamps Jeff, you'll be...

    Train Kills Mother, Two Children!

Express kills Elm mother, two children. An Elm mother and two of her five children were killed instantly at 6:10 P.M. Monday when the Blue Comet express train crashed into a light delivery Truck at an unprotected crossing not far from their home. They were Mrs. Antionette Macciocca, 35 of...

Ouch. It does have a sort of a "watching tennis or golf" effect when just viewed on T.V. to be honest. To each his own. g.

    Tuesday with Alfie

Interesting links and nice of him to share, thank you Guy. It helps one to attempt to really "notice" what's out there and what is going on around them. Nature "existing" right before your eyes. One can learn from even a little low budget youtube bit. Seeing L.I.P. lurking about in those...

    Computer

Your camera should be fine. I have the similar model and it took fine on my Dell home computer with VISTA home premium and I just hooked it to the Toshiba Laptop I got with VISTA home basic and they talked instantly. No fuss. I think VISTA gets a bad rap from people who are highly demanding of a...

    Music for the day

Nice. Thanks buddy. I do not think I have ever been thrown out of a place technically speaking. Been questioned on many an incident though. Quite a few I've left in ways I can't recall to this day. Just, wound up somewhere else. Darn shame you and I never took on the town. Gen "X" and...

A Fine Time For Fine Wine

Scott, I kind of sucked up a whole bunch of your brew at a recent gathering. Seemed to recall having the bottle in my hand at the end, although I must be mistaken as I could never be that crude. Pure Joy Sir! Continue whatever it is you are doing. g.

Sewell man dies during canoe trip

To compare to this tragedy, I love to take a paddle on my own but I do have an issue that makes it a little risky. I don't speak on it much. I used to truly enjoy a day of quiet on the waters but nowadays I get a little spooked myself at times as to what the least little incident could take away...

    Waiting for YOU!

This works well, but many folks frown on it. I have a small pool. When the chigs have gotten me, I shock it, way over and above what is required, I go for a swim immediately, no waiting period. Does wonders for poison ivy as well. I like a swim in the ocean for it too. feels good. g.
