What's all this brouhaha about bears in the pines? I never bother anyone! :mrgreen:

Yesterday I took a late ride out to the Pines. On Rt 532 in Chatsworth I saw that signs were up marking the new New Jersey Consevation Foundation property. There was a phone number to call if you wanted access but DUH, I didn't write it down. I also finally found a map showing the property...

Yeah, I think they have mentioned Shades of Death Rd in North Jersey too. About 12 years ago we were camping in that area and I noticed it on a map so we went to check it out. Just a beautiful country road. I think WNJ just looks for names like that to write about.

Today Guy and I revisited the Tulpehocken and Friendship area. First I took Guy to see the stream I had found a couple of weeks ago. It was a little underwhelming as it was covered with pollen and did not seem as clear. We still cannot figure out how the pool in this stream formed. From there...
