the batter im looking for is a thick crunchy type. not like that sand coating you get with shake and bake. more like fried chicken. just though we had some chefs on the board :wink:

there are plent yotes in the greenwood and manchester. i have seen them for years. i would be more afraid of wild dogs which are few but out there. just learn to climb fast if they pack up against you. :wink:

those fields of green grass are actually planted winter rye oats for the deer. the state plants them every year around the end of august begining of september. this is supposed to help them through the winter as it will stay green into january.

greenwood is not a state forrest it is a wildlife management area and is maintained by the state from the license fees of hunters and fisherman although frequently abused by dirt bikes 4 wheelers and hippy party goers :x i would think if any areas are closed off it would be because of the above...

have seen ground hogs climbing trees like that. funniest thing youve ever seen. and i thought they were only grass hill climbers on the parkway.
