Interesting on the rocks & fire research, thanks. My best guess on the tower is about mid point of red trail where it combines with road (possible green trail) There was a small clearing and a picnic table... Mike has a pic of it near bottom of page here...

So not to be left out I recently had a viral infection in my eye that almost led to cornea transplant. Permanent vision loss but cornea remains my original equipment LoL
