Whenever Ro & I drive in to our test sites at Parker Preserve, drive Quaker Bridge Road, NJ 72, or U.S. 206, and cross/go under the old tracks, I think of the Blue Comet rushing down thru the Pines. Never saw her run, did get to see some of the last freights rocking and swaying down the badly...
