I just spent three days over the colombus day holiday hiking Dolly Sods. Beautiful. Snowed up top for about an hour on day two. I loved the high country there. Great country, I will be back. I have only a few crappy pics on my cell phone as I remembered my camera but forgot the battery...

Hiked in the snow for about an hour yesterday in West VA. up at Dolly Sods. Great day, went from cold to sleet, to snow, then rain. Fall is over up there two weeks early, the colors were well past peak. I am really looking forward to colder winters, looks like they may be coming.

Too many roads. Put up some gates and make more areas accessible only to foot, bike, and horses. If people can drive there then it will be trashed. If it was just a quarter of a mile hike to the tower 90% of this would stop.
