And there are two bald eagles living there but I was only able to photograph this one far across the bog that must be young. It does not have the white head but one of them did. I am not sure if this was a third bird and not the eagle.

On our way down Hampton Road from 206 we crossed one of the small bridges and it was full of ducks near it and I saw them splashing as we crossed. I backed up over the bridge and they flew. However, they took off and flew in the direction of Deep Run and then we heard shooting. Yikes!

We decided to go to Deep Run today and stopped a mile from there to look at something and heard 2 shogun blasts in that direction. When we arrive vehicles were parked there so we left. Hunters were all over today. We found a place we felt they would not be at and explored. Make sure you wear orange.
