In the ruins of the Pine Barrens

Yeah that kid was pretty scary. "Once you label something, it's @#$%ed" ~ Ozzy The way she described the book to me when I met her, I was scared of it being published. I haven't looked at it yet though.

That's that woman I saw at Charles Wills' grave.

Found it today after hearing about it for years. One obsession down, one to go.

    Grave in BRSF....

They have no personality and get paid to print garbage their tools, I mean fans, write FOR them. They don't even visit everywhere they write about. That's my biggest problem with them; I feel you have no right to write about a place you haven't even gone to.

    rt539-land behind the fence?

We did drive by a lake and the moron for whatever reason parked in soft sand. In his 80-something Civic with no suspension. Took about a half hour to get it out. Worst trip I've ever gone on.

    graveyard in bamber??

That's cuz none of us know where it is. Wouldn't have told him even if I did. I don't give out directions to anyone.

    graveyard in bamber??

The guy who was begging for directions to Ace Campground (think he was banned) on here tried my board shortly afterward. Nobody replied to him.

*shrugs* That's what sigs are for. I put my link in my sig, but I never push my site in any other way. If it really bothered anyone, I'd remove it without question. As long as the person is contributing, I wouldn't care if they link themselves in their sig. I hate hit & runners; I delete them.

    graveyard in bamber??

That prompted me to buy one of those nifty digital voice recorder thingies last year and bring it there. Well, it's still sitting in the package, never touched. Just don't have the motivation to toy with that stuff anymore. Maybe it's something you just grow out of, I don't know.

    graveyard in bamber??

I have a few photos with "orbs" that I've taken. I've had so many alleged ghost hunters and "psychics" tell me my pictures have activity in them that I've started to put captions making fun of them, such as "OGFM teh 0rbz!!!1!!" The only pic that's intrigued me at all is one I took at...

    graveyard in bamber??

Do you know if you have to pay year round? Annie told me about that cemetery a while back but that you have to pay to get to that part of Atsion. I'd imagine they don't charge this time of year, at least I hope not.

No more fun in the Pines

I've been thinking about putting a camping trip together for my site but now don't know where to go. Lebanon's the closest thing to me, but I'm not going there if they're gonna be jumping out at us all night.

New book "Whispers in the Pines"

I honestly can't remember the title of the book. The woman never gave me her name either. All I know is she was at the grave with some photographers for a newspaper and that she said the book was coming out in October. She also said it was going to have "just about every ghost town in the...

    graveyard in bamber??

That cemetery is very easy to get to; it's just off Rt. 9 in Eagleswood. The street sign has been missing for quite a while now though. Can't really be more specific; I don't know any landmarks down that way. Edit - Forgot to mention there are always lots of mosquitoes in that cemetery...

New book "Whispers in the Pines"

I wonder if that's the lady I bumped into at Charles Wills a few months back, the one saying she was giving directions to everything.

    graveyard in bamber??

I tried to find 10 Mile Hollow a few times now and still can't. I found coords for 2 foundations which are supposed to be near it, but the 2 times I went I was turned around by either intense heat or equally intense flies. Maybe I'll go try again today.

    Ong's Hat Trail

That place is great. I've only ever gotten to finish it once though, since any other time it was flooded about halfway through. I saw an old, old stove (I think it was a stove anyway) along the trail, and behind it were several old mason jars. Wonder how it got out there.

    rt539-land behind the fence?

Some kid tried taking me to BOMARC a few years back, but we were on some dirt road somewhere in Collier's Mills; had no idea it was right on 539. We never did make it because he apparently forgot how to get there, not to mention he got pulled over twice, ticketed twice, and had his license...
