Oh ok thanks for clearing that up for me I was a little confused. I also believe that it predates Wharton, it looks centuries old. I guessing that there is nothing left of the tavern besides a cellar hole? I've noticed that there are cellar holes all around that area.

I also just added some pictures of Washington, does anybody know what that was? I hear from some people that it was a tavern and some others say it was Wharton's horse stable? I found an old horseshoe near the site but it could of been from somebody on a horse just exploring.

I've never been fishing this late but I remember when I go camping at Bass River State Forest in the summer time or early fall I would fish in lake Absegami and always have great luck. I would usually use live bait such as night crawlers and a bobber. Good luck
