    The painting of the Wading River

    Last week on a paddle down the Wading from Evans Bridge to Beaver Branch I noticed posted mile markers, with reflectors and painted trees. Even trees projecting into the river but easily paddled around were painted bright green and blue.

    Another fire?

    I went past Atsion at about 12:30 and there were FFS trucks and a helicopter. Looking south now down 206 from Nacle there appears to be smoke.

    The pictures were taken at 2 sec intervals, I stretched them to 5 sec to make a good video. Six days and 25 GB of pictures.

    I found this at Parker Southgate East today. The inside had pine needles and leaves on the bottom. Right after the tube entered the box a beverage can was attached. The causeway leading back to the concrete dam still has a washout with stagnant water. It doesn't look like they have any...
