How do we stop the damage?

This is the new angle. The PPA is trying to point fingers at the state, blaming them for the problems with offroading. The administration is incompetent and won't increase funding for enforcement is their cry. What is the goal Jason? First it was the offroad groups political influence and now it...

    Gentian And Rattlesnakes

Chile you raised a great point! DragonCJO and I have talked about about how social Timbers are especially gravid females. If you find one female on the move most likely you will find another nearby. There could be recognition of kin and non-kin with this behavior. I can't say for sure all I have...

    Woodland Township Tax Sale

The gate just beyond the intersection of Baptist and Bailey was pulled open a few summers ago. It wasn't long before workers fixed it. NJCF will respond if notified if something is wrong on their land. That area isn't a high traffic area from what I have seen from the many days I have spent...

    Woodland Township Tax Sale

The entire area has some of the healthiest wetlands I have crossed through. It is a nice combination of mixed canopies and rich soils. The state was monitoring the main roads through there because the dumping was getting out of control.

    Walnford Mill

The rotting remains of a dam is starting to come to light in the shallow remains of the mill reservoir. The sluice gate was opened because of the deposit of sediment before the dam causing a change in the channel of Crosswicks Creek. If there is heavy rain possibly more of the structure could be...

    Winslow WMA Crackdown !

Fish and Game use to go undercover in the barrens and central Jersey when they had the extra man power years ago. I came across a few conservation officer friends who would try to remain in "character" when I was interacting with them. I would bust their chops and question why they were acting...

    Road Maintenance

This morning I saw that the forest service was doing maintenance on E. Stokes Road. South of Hampton Road was being filled and graded. I also saw that the large puddle next to the concrete bridge on Quakerbridge Road was filled in. It is nice to see work being performed.

    Snakes

Great video! I recognize all of the areas presented which means I may have spent to much time out with Dragon over the years. If you get to know Emile you will see that he is no nonsense and is straight forward about what needs to be done. You might find his answers hard to swallow and a bit...
