The "Euro" model, which has been very good at predicting precip amounts this far out are supporting a good 4-5" rainfall. Other, American models aren't far behind with similar amounts. Large sections of woods, yards, and even some roads are still underwater near me.

A friend of mine has Netflix and links it to a Roku box. Its pretty cool little device, you're of course limited to what they have available for streaming but theres still a good amount available. The Roku also pulls other stuff off the internet as well like a "Flickr" channel, Pandora music...

I found myself out in Pittsburgh over the weekend, and stopped into an REI out there on chance that maybe they'd have a 300 left. As luck would have it, they did... one, in addtion to the one on display. Thought about it for a day, then went back and purchased it the next day. Won't be playing...

Thanks for the correction Boyd, I didn't realize the difference in storage space. Though it makes sense. 1 Gig will still store a decent amount of data at least, then combined with a card you could have coverage comparable to what the 400t offers (using freely available topo data). The 24MB on...
