Good post. You might want to call, or visit when things get a bit normal, the National Guard Militia Museum of New Jersey in Sea Girt. They have a lot of records dating back to colonial times. It is worth the trip just to visit. https://njmilitiamuseum.org/

They occurred over several years. July 1967, my wife to be was working at Blue Cross in Newark. In 1964 I was working on Wall St, drove thru the Jersey City party to catch the ferry to NY every day. Kept my shotgun in the back seat.

I have only been once, last week to the local shop-rite, curiosity trip. Some shelves were not fully stocked , others empty, same in the frozen section. Fresh meats, baked goods and fruit/veggies had good selections. They would not admit anyone without a mask and no crowds as they only allowed...

I bought a Predator 8750 and the Generac Homelink manual Xfer switch. The switch cost more than the genset, but is upgradeable to full auto. Did the wiring and had an electrician hook it up. If I need it for the house I just need to connect the cable to the outside xfer box and push a button...
