    Raised trail?

What do we know, The 1931 aerial photo shows it faintly. Boyd confirms that it is indeed the same feature present today on the liar maps. As of that time, the area was used as a cranberry bog. primarily to the west of the old forge/ village site. What would the people there at the time need a...

    Raised trail?

There's plenty there, but nothing that specifically mentions any earthworks in the larger Dover Forge area.

    Raised trail?

It definitely looks raised to me. Especially closer to cedar creek. I'll have to make a trip out there, do some bushwacking, and lay eyes on it.

    Raised trail?

The blueberry field is closer to the dover forge trail than it is to this berm. I like the way you're thinking though. If it is a spoil pile or heap from cultivation, it sure is strait and regular. I thought it might be covering a drainage pipe.

    Raised trail?

Yes. That's it. About 3 feet high and 3 feet wide. It's old enough that some pine trees are about a foot thick growing through it. Love your maps!

    Raised trail?

I am familiar with lidar maps. Boyds maps in particular have been very helpful in exploring deeper into some of my favorite areas of the pines. Recently I came across a raised trail or berm in Double Trouble. Which was odd because it is similar to a lot of ditches or irrigation trenches, which...

It's HOT. Where's your favorite place to cool off? Wading river? The Mullica? I'm looking for a shallow creek, stream or lake to chill in.
