    First time campers?

Try Godfrey Bridge, Over the last 40 years I've camped there dozens of times and took my kids when they were young. You can swim in the Wading or take a 2 mile ride to Harrisville and swim. The kids especially like the camp store located across the bridge (5 minute walk from Godfrey Bridge)...

FIOS is coming to rural Atlantic County

Dead right there. When Comcast works it works well, but any problem you have, technical, billing, etc. is very difficult for them to resolve. I actually dread having to call them because I know it will take multiple calls to get fixed. I just placed 5 calls to them to fix their own billing...

Enduro Club Use of the Pines

I did find the following in the article. "Opening up some single track would mean a change in the DEP’s existing policy which states that: “The creation or use of single-track trails for motorized use is prohibited.”

Interesting ebay auction: 80s Mayo's Halfway House Menu

Yes! I remember the Chocolate shop and the foosball game and roast beef sandwichs that came with fries and gravy on top and their local snapper soup. Mayos was a lot more crowded in the 70's and attracted a lot of shore traffic.

    This effects us all

EXCELLENT! I never liked that idea and can remember when crosswalks were added in my town. I argued then with a proponent of the crosswalks that it would cause problems. I also know several people who got tickets (setup by police traps) from entering the crosswalk area while a pedestrian was in...

Green Bank Inn... closed for good.

You might have seen one of the Boss Hoss bikes, they are available in V-8. I saw one in Florida once, it looked all beat up, but it had nitro packs and was incredibly fast. https://www.bosshoss.com/view_bike.asp?x=BHC3LS3

DEP evaluating pay to access WMAs

I know there are some folks who will disagree with this, but I think it makes sense to put limits on the size and/or types of tires used in the woods. When reaching a deep puddle, most vehicles will be forced to turn around (no big deal in most cases). But trucks with huge mud lugger tires can...
