Thanx, we had a great time, and the weather ended up great. I had to reinstall some parts that fell off the Geo Tracker when I got home. Some of those puddles almost swallowed the Tracker.

Just to update, I got it working! I owe Boyd and you guys a beer for helping me out. I am a moron with this stuff, but once I figured it out I hit myself on the forehead, because I should have had this working in minutes, not hours. I never had this much trouble getting a paper map to work. Doug

I dont know, I tried everything and cant get mapsource to reconize those files, I've read though every tutiorial and it seems so easy but just wont work. Thanx boyd for taking the time to upload it this morning...seems like it should be plug and play Doug

Just got a topo map to go in using garmin mapinstall. Still cant fiqure out boyds yet. I am new and clueless to this whole GPS thing, LOL Doug

Yeah I installed the usb drivers from the garmin site.

I cant get this unit to communicate with the Pc. Never had this much trouble with a USB device. Doug

Thanx boyd, I thought for sure it should work, it seems I cant get the unit to interface with my Pc for some reason, I am using XP. I'll work it some more in the morning and let you know if I get it to work. Excited to give it a try Doug
