Going to check out a spot tomorrow where the Platanthera clavellata was just starting to open on Wed. P. blephariglottis and P. cristata were blooming nicely in the area.
Scott has a point, if a person weighing 150 lbs can only eat on fish a month safely then there must be a bunch of poisoned otters in the pines (they eat the head, guts and other parts)
Yeah, where there were dozens last year there are only a few this year and the few must have been tasty. I'll look around the area better when it cools down.
