    There is an active tower in Blue Anchor Right on the side of Rt. 73. I can't be sure if this is the tower. The road appears to be paved so it must be a main road, and most of the trees around it are hardwoods. Also looking at the shadow from the truck I would say the road runs north and south...

    I have the legend cx and like it very much. I've just never tried to pinpoint something that small in that heavy of cover. The distance to target reading was changing even when I was standing still.

    I went out after work today and found the landing gear . Unfortunately I couldn't find the trail out again and had to bushwack west until I found the cross trail. I was very close on Saturday, probably within 60 yards.

    Thanks for sharing Y Buc Bill. It sound like there is a lot of wreckage out there, but it's so overgrown it's hard to find anthing.

    Railroad tracks from Woodmansie to Lakehurst

    I recently purchased some USGS maps from a store in Marlon. When I went to check out the gentleman behind the counter said"Woodmansie there was a locomotive half buried in the sand out there". He wasn't sure if it was still there. Is this the derailment you mentioned Y Buc Bill?
