Can you get out at Crowley's yet? I know the ramp was shut down.

I hike and kayak that area frequently and never have seen anything but a boat, circa 1920's. I hiked the high ground from the Skit Bridge at HF to the RR trestle and nothing ever got my attention, however there is not much at LF EXCEPT the man made dam, a real giveaway. Gotta have power.

I was looking at the Rx100, but think the 3.6x zoom a little short. The Canon G16 looks good at 5x. My ZS20 was nice IF there was a lot of light, so I want to head towards a faster lens and larger sensor.

Mike, what type of camera does it have and what is the video format? It is a very good quality video and YouTube handled it well. The stabilization is excellent.

We walked the orange trail out by Jemima Mount this morning. The vegetation is bouncing back nicely. It really opened up the area.

I enjoyed the video, it conveys so much more than pictures. I looked at GoPro as an alternative to PlotWatcher as it could do time lapse and more but it has the same short battery life no matter what mode. I don't know why they even advertise time lapse as there are programs that will create...

What's the difference between rough and smooth green snake? I guess it is obvious, but a green was always a green to me. The ones I found were always uplands and quite by accident.
