    All-Terrain Vehicle Problem

Perhaps you have a really good handle on everyone here, but I'd say that the safer bet is that you are merely projecting. I agree that a dedicated park wouldn't solve the problem. I can see why it could help, but I can also see why it might also possibly hurt for the reason you stated.

I was interested in hearing your argument, Jon. I think a productive discussion can be had here.

https://boydsmaps.com/#13.00/40.140083/-75.129123/historic62k/0.00/0.00 The target symbol is on what I believe to be the letter 'e'. Looks to me that it says "condemned." I found it curious. Thoughts?

Mystery Canal and Historic Ground Water Levels

That's a great thought. Maybe that was true in the past? It is not true now. Edit: Tides are higher now than in the past, but perhaps flooding coupled with a higher water table made the ditch necessary?

Mystery Canal and Historic Ground Water Levels

Bob, I'm glad you challenged me on that. I shouldn't be so sure about this one. In fact, the more I think about it, the more I think the road was probably there. The Van Sant shipyard dates back to pre-Revolution and may have been reached by way of that road.

Mystery Canal and Historic Ground Water Levels

Bob, I'm basing that conclusion on the fact that the berms on either side of the canal were cut through when they made the road.

It was left as is until the road went through.

https://boydsmaps.com/#17.00/39.633764/-74.649551/midatlidar/0.00/0.00 I've been trying to figure out the purpose of this ditch for a number of years now. I paid a visit to the location this past weekend and came to some conclusions: The ditch predates the road going through it. The ditch...

Derelict Houses on Indian Cabin Road, Egg Harbor City, NJ

I knew a kid who went back there one night with a couple of friends and ended up getting a beat-down by a few hicks. This was the early 2000s.
