    I just noticed on my Vantage Point Base Map that the Garden State Parkway is listed as Interstate 444.Did the government buy the road from it's private owners and change the name to route 444? Google Maps still lists it as the Parkway.

    Thats why I never made much mind to latin.They claim the latin names avoid confusion but they change them from year to year.The common names last longer.I know of several local snake genera that have changed in the last decade but the common names are still the same.

    Groundhogs are true hibernators as once they go to sleep they do not wake up till spring.Bears metabolism slows down but they do occasionally wake up and even walk around a bit during warm spells so from what i have read are not true hibernators.The again there is no such thing as a poisonous...

    I think your right about Osprey Bob but I know they do claim there are more deer here now then when the Pilgrims landed and it is supposedly because of the deer farms ,uhh excuse me WMA's that feed them plant fields for them.I understand that deer were wiped out in NJ in the early 1900's though...

    Newfoundland has been on our to do list for several years but now Momma is pissed we need passports. Last time we went to Canada it was easy getting in but they ran us through the mill getting back into the states.easier to get in if your mexican.

    It was attempted turtle sex.The female appeared to be unwilling.She should be standing up or I feel his advances are bound to failure.She probably wasn't ready yet and yes they do have sex to fertilize the eggs.They are not frog which simply perform amplexus which is not sex as we know it.

    you can hear they have the saqme call just the PB has a deeper pitch much like greys and copes have the same call on copes trill is faster.
