how come the images are always grainy? mountain lions are elusive but we have darn good photos of them in the wild.cell phones take as good a pic as a camera does.why can't we get a good shot?

yes the trail crosses the yard where a house use to be just east of these houses and there is a newspaper box stuck in the sand along the trail where the yard used to be.The rest of the houses as you can see are still there.The trail passes east of these between them and the north south road...

Belleplain state forest has several nice white pine groves and the young pines are spreading out from their edges.I think the soil is richer down here though.They are surrounded by oak woods.

I walked across that bridge last week.There was Sophie blood on that trail three weeks ago.She is almost healed.next week she should be woods ready again.
