    Tucker's Isle

Thanks for that posting Bob! Whips wife is from Sweden and has informed me that this is the way it is in Sweden.I personally don't care much for their socialism but in regards to their views on private property I much prefer them to ours.I understand Boyd that you are a property owner,I own a...

    Tucker's Isle

The NWR does not allow visitation there.Do you have special priveleges or are you a renegade like me? Yes the island is Poison Ivy hell.I did everything i could to avoid it and still got a few spots.Last time i was there the dock that was out in front of the life saving station was still...

Who wants to go bigfooting with me??

Bigfoot traded his birthright for a bowl of bean soup.He has had bad gas ever since,I think a commercial was made showing this effect recently.By the sound of Bigfoots loud caterwauling through the swamps I'd assume he is a Pentacostal. He can't be a Baptists because they believe in deep water...

    Tucker's Isle

well the only posted signs were from the NWR ,nothing from any private club and the nwr signs were on the beach. If they are so protective they should go high hog and splurge for a lock on the door.I took nothing but curiosity was just too much. This was probably 17 years ago I believe so there...

    Another 5AM outing

racers use their belly scales to grip the road and the muscles attached to them to pull them along.I would say there are less friction favorable surfaces on a smooth asphalt surface for the scales to grip whereas once they hit the woods there is an innumerable bunch of surfaces for them to grip...

    Another 5AM outing

racers and rats both have the white chin visible but have different bellies which isn't visible.racers have solid grey bellies and rats have mottled cream and grey splotched bellies.Racers have smooth dull black scales while rats have keeled shinier black scales. These scales look dull and smooth...

    The Perseids cometh

The plains would be good but Philly and Camden and burbs are a beast to the west.I would go for a bowl where the hills block the western horizon at least, try to block the southeast too because AC is beast number 2.down here the state prisons mess up some prime areas that otherwise would be quite...

Who wants to go bigfooting with me??

I would say whoever made that set of tracks would be much more then the eight or nine feet they give Bigfoot.I think we're on the trail of the Giant that Jack saw up the beanstalk.

    The Perseids cometh

yes November is nice, after that it seems it rains most of december,I like snow but I like powder that i can walk through in the woods, wet snow is pretty on the trees but it sucks to walk through.I look at the bright side of the rain though, fill up those creeks so I can go yakkin! Mullica was low...

    The Perseids cometh

The Barrens are awesome,NJ isn't so awesome. The barrens and the marshes are the only place you can get away from the crowds.I couldn't even imagine living in the central swath of NJ from Camden up to Newark. The traffic drives me nuts around here and I'm considered rural.I'm an hour south of...
