    Gabe.The water levels in the streams such as wading and tulpehocken are atrociously low.the wading cannot be floated above the tulpe and even below is very scratchy for a mile or more.Many of the vernal ponds here(cumberland county) still have water in them but I don't think it's the water table...

    Oh and quick question... I saw a sign near Bass River state park's entrance that they are having a Bear talk??? anybody know about this? Are bears more common now in the pines than back in 05 to where they are having talks about them? Is anybody going???? there were a rash of bear sightings...

    There are seven in the western set if I remember correctly.6 to the right ast the road bends right and one hidden one to the left.these are much cooler then the ones you were at in my opinion.more isolated and less visited. Al
