    A smokey weekend

I would assume by Wednesday the prescribed burns will be in full swing.

I'm defiantly trying to make it on the 13th

    Robins

I have a holly tree in my front yard. They have started attacking it for the berries. At its peak there are at least 20 birds in it at any given time and my cars look like it's raining purple for a few weeks.

    Saw mills

My mom recently took down a black walnut. Some of the smaller pieces I sliced into slabs with my chainsaw. Not too bad for freehand;)

    New Pinelands Visitor Center

I see one of my former employers were in the mix. I'm surprise that a couple of other shops in area that I know of didn't bid on it. Judging by the bids it might have been too small of a job for them.

    Soccer at Tuckahoe Turf

I always had the Courier delivered until about 6 years ago. When the days that I wouldn't receive it until after I left for work became common I threatened to cancel. They put me on "priority" which worked for a bit. Then I would not get it for an entire day and then get two the next day (one...

    Bottle hunting reccomendations

This thread started out as bottle hunting recommendations and has moved to an archaeology issue. Bottle hunting is not trying to preserve history. Just look at the name, it's hunting for a trophy to add to one's collection. What's better for researching history? An undisturbed cracked bottle...

    Soccer at Tuckahoe Turf

I was following this before it got passed. To the best of my knowledge the only opponents were the PPA, I could be wrong. I was glad it passed. I would think helping any existing active farms in the pines should be encouraged. Any farm left fallow too long soon becomes the next subdivision...

    Best stealth drone I've seen

I recently saw this and immediately thought of this thread.

    It never ends

That's our friend Jason on one of his many different Facebook pages. Funny, he won't discuss PPA agenda here but he plasters it all over Facebook.

    Where is this?

Yep that's the place. It just reminds me how long it's been.

    Where is this?

That's twice in one day you took me back in time to that area. Pine Grove was on 47 right? And now I assume it's no longer. If I'm thinking of the right place that was the best diner in the area to eat. It was always a treat when we compared to a Wawa hoagie between charter trips

That was my first guess too

    Maurice River shots

I didn't realize that was that small trestle just north of 47. We used to run a charter boat out of Port Norris in the late '80's. I haven't been I. That area much since then. It's amazing how much its deteriorated since then.

The Woods Of Atsion Meadow; a PBX Hike.

My best guess I would say the largest one was about 9'. Chris and I put our arms around it and counting our overlap and if our arms are roughly the same length it's right around that. There were almost a dozen trees around the 7 to 8 foot range there, and I'm sure there are probably more there...
