They were bad a month or so ago but not many now, same for ticks. We've been hiking out by Pine Crest, beautiful trails, hardly a fly and fewer humans.

We have been seeing lots of dead white ones on the trails and roads in the last week. Egg masses on trees at Hampton Furnace and Apple Pie Hill.

You will be just giving them ammunition to close another area, they will do nothing more and we will loose more freedom for nothing.

From a road viewpoint your 2020 topo is very good. It has the trails as I see them when I hike.

I like Boyd's map of NJ 2018 in basecamp. It has the roads portrayed realistically, not as straight lines. Even the smaller dead end roads which I explore. Also minimal topographic clutter.

Both of there are lousy maps. I've been hiking the Pine Crest regularly and reality is much different.
