Spotted this female way up in a tree while kayaking on the Mullica just above the beaver pond ( Locks Bridge). It was a very long shot.

I was amazed at how little I found on the island. It wasn't as worn, almost not at all, as the road from the east. It would be interesting to hear from anyone who has an earlier edition of EXPLORING THE LITTLE RIVERS OF NEW JERSEY to better date the bridge.

I found these eggs on the back of a blueberry leaf. There is no enhansment on these photos, just the normall setting, some didn't emerge. View it full size. A mushroom, plenyty of these this year!
